Today...

As I was walking into my Anthropology final a girl in the class, out of no where, called me a "lesbian fucktard" for no reason.

Why is it okay to use a part of someone and twist it into hate speech?

It shouldn't bother me anymore but it does. I'm genuinely hurt and angry and exhausted.

  1. wow....was there any reason for it?....not that that would make it ok....because nothing makes that ok......

it's understandable that it hurt, you're not made of stone....

  3. Ugh, I can't believe people still act and think like that.

Anyway, I wanted to comment on your blog.

I enjoyed reading your blog, I love the special touch you put by writing about your own experiences and certain aspects of your life. You made a lot of good points and that was your greatest strength.

You're a great and smart girl, don't let people like that ruin your day, just smile and ruin their by letting them know you're proud of your sexuality.

    Blanca.

  4. Normally, when I met somebody who hates me for who I am, I fight back. If I were you, I will first, tell that girl to go f**k off. I will even tell that girl that I have a very supportive group of people behind my back, do you even have one? Also, based on if that girl is belong to any evangelical group, I will also tell her that, "may your God bless your heart, because you are obviously not Christian enough to read the whole bible. The true God did not mention that homosexual is a sin, and you are here alter what God says, what are you another God? So here you go, read your Bible, by the way, you should read the King James version not a biased America Version."

I am a heterosexual, but I am a firm supporter of gay rights. I truly like your blog because besides all the reading reflection, the blog really reflect who you are. I hope you keep blogging, and I certainly will keep reading.

  5. That was a hurtful thing that was said to you. Yes, you shouldn't let anything like that get to you. People who say things like that are jelish people. They are not very smart people, they have alot to experience and understand life. For that person, she's no where in life to fully understand anything. For you, I am sure you have alot of family and friends that support you and love you. I am sure you have alot going for yourself, don't let it bother you. Keep your head high and don't let anything like that bring you down.

  7. first of all...

I am appalled that she came up to you and said that.

    secondly...

I could absolutely GO OFF on the whole subject... because honestly if someone comes in my face and says something like to me... They are absolutely getting punched in the face! Sorry if that sounds a little harsh, but no one has the right to say anything like that to anyone else. Honestly if they have the "balls" to say it to someone's face then.. they are giving you the free pass to punch them in their mouths. I appreciate the things that you have discussed and the nature of your blog. I think you have alot of great things to say and I hope you continue to blog. I wouldn't be upset by the words that the girl said, she's just probably mad that your hair is way better that hers! HA HA.. I'm joking, but honestly you have great things to say, and you should continue to blog and shout them out from the mountain tops, because we need people to bring the "f-word" to the forefront.
